The best promotion – Western Serbia promotion

Western Serbia presentation theme at 34th International Fair of Tourism in Belgrade, that won the price for best regional promotion, was gastronomy and activity-based tourism. This year fair collected 1000 exhibitors from 46 countries, partner country was Turkey.
Within PSD program and Development of typical product project, RDA Zlatibor supported promotion of region in:
- designing gastro stand within regional stand, where restaurants and households demonstrated preparing of traditional meals and visitors had opportunity to taste them,
- preparing baskets of the most important typical products of western Serbia that were exposed all over the stand and were given to important partners, as the first step of commercialisation of products within the same slogan or mark,
- engaging the best twelve students cooks and waiters from region that covered entire cuisine at the stands and promoted their profession and own schools,
- billboard campaign that attracted great media coverage and number of visitors, billboards with eight gastro motives merged with old political slogans at 20 locations in Belgrade.
During the fair, lottery game was designed within Simple and unique campaign. Facebook page was designed and people voted for the best three photos from gastro stand (http://www.facebook.com/obicnoineponovljivo page had around 300.000 visits). Three pairs won prices – weekend in rural households Vila Ravijojla, Lazarevi Konaci and Boskova voda.
